- Any employee or student who wants access to the source code must first be approved by one of the project managers (e.g. Kate, Jing, Ann) or by a supervisor (e.g. Jim, Katrina, Donna).
- Then the person must take the official git quiz located here: http://genecats.cse.ucsc.edu/eng/gitQuiz.txt
- Once they think they know the answers, they should discuss them with one of our two git experts: Venkat or Mary.
- Once all those things have happened, then either Venkat or Mary will ask cluster-admins to add them to the kentcommit unix group.
