I completed a B.Sc. degree in Biochemistry & Botany at the University of Johannesburg, S.A. in 2010. The following year I completed my B.Sc. Hons in Biochemistry at the same institute. I am currently an M.Sc. candidate at the same university, where I am studying human genetics and infectious disease under supervision of Prof. Liza Bornman. One of the focal points of my M.Sc. is a thorough in silico analysis of the Vitamin D Receptor gene.
