In wikipedia, there are existing templates that have been made by users to create a link to the UCSC Genome Browser by using the template call function: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Template:UCSC_genome_browser

And another that will create a link to the UCSC gene details for a page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Template:UCSC_gene_details

Examples of uses of each:

{{UCSC genome browser|SIRT1}}  And {{UCSC gene details|SIRT1}} 

Creates the sentences:

SIRT1 human gene location in the UCSC Genome Browser. And SIRT1 human gene details in the UCSC Genome Browser.
